福建新源重工有限公司，成立于1990年，前身是一家大型进口工程机械维修企业，在多年丰富维修经验的基础上，研发出国内台5.5吨级360°全回转液压轮胎式挖掘机并投放市场，二十多年间新源挖掘机不断更新换代，公司今已研发出10吨级以下的多款轮胎式和履带式液压挖掘机，现已发展成为市场占有率、客户满意度和售后的中小型挖掘机专业制造企业，产品销售网络覆盖全国各地，并远销世界各地。
2014年公司新厂区投入使用，新厂区占地面积40000平方米，建筑面积30000平方米。公司目前拥有一支高素质的研发、管理、生产团队、世界上的激光切割设备、数控龙门加工中心、机器人焊接系统、机器人喷漆系统等，实现了主机结构件下料切割、拼装焊接、数控加工、表面喷涂全自动化的生产工艺，生产标准流程严格按照标准及质量控制保证体系执行，确保产品质量达到或超过相关标准。
